Well, this is it! The half way point in my pregnancy! I can't tell you how excited I am to be 20 weeks. It's such an awesome feeling knowing that we're almost there. Granted, I still have 20 weeks to go, but I'm just glad the first 20 are over!
Boy am I glad week 19 is over. What a bummer of a week! Jacque, our Westie, got fixed this week which doesn't seem like that big of a deal. Well, little did I know that I couldn't leave him home alone for the first 3 days! I had to be here to stop him from licking his stitches. UGH! So I was stuck at home most of the week, stalking Jacque to make sure he wasn't ripping out his stitches and bleeding to death. So the dog likes to lay under our bed for some reason, well Thursday, after giving piano lessons I went to get Jacque so he could go out. I'm calling for him and I go to check under the bed...no Jacque....I check every room in the house...no Jacque. I am totally freaking out. I just know he's dead in the woods somewhere b/c he's chewed himself to death or he's on the side of the road dead b/c a car hit him. I call Robert crying but of course he has no idea where the dog is. So I gain some composure and I call animal control. Sure enough, he was at the pound....ALREADY! I'm thinking some neighbor caught him and turned him in. Thankfully, Rob called his dad, Gerry, and he came and watched Spencer while I went to get the dog out of jail. When I got there, he didn't even look excited to see me. I thought about taking another dog home who was over joyed to see me walk in the room, but I fessed up and told them he was ours. Of course, Jacque didn't have a license, so on top of the pound fee I forked out an extra six bucks to get him registered. I love Jacque, really I do, but am I glad that week is behind us!
This week, Spencer started sleeping in his "big boy bed." Which seems like a good thing since the new baby will need the crib in a few months, but it's kinda been a big ordeal. Bedtime takes forever now because I made the mistake the first day he was in his bed of scratching his belly until he fell asleep. So now I have to do it every night. Not Robert, ME! If it didn't take so long for him to fall asleep, I'd be just fine with it. But it takes forever! Please don't get me wrong, I LOVE Spencer and I love that he wants to spend time with me at night, but after a long day I would love to give him a kiss and put him to bed.
So that's been my exciting week. Dogs+jail+bedtime=exhaustion. Bring on the new week!

How did Jaque get out?
This post is so funny. I remember when I was 20 weeks prego with Ella and tired. You will feel better soon. ;) Its always so hard to remember that. Im glad to hear that you got Jaque back and Steven is sleeping in a big boy bed. I swear I think that is the hardest transition ever! Because they can actually get out and leave!!! Hope it goes a little better this week.
Good luck with the bedtime routine! My 2 year old is still in the crib and the baby is in a playpen because I don't want to deal with the climbing out of bed until later. I'm excited for you that you are having a girl!
