Yeehaw Cowboy!

I forgot I wanted to post some pictures I took of Spencer this morning! One grandma brought him the cowboy hat from Texas and the other grandma brought him the boots from Texas. He's a genuine cowboy!

And here's a picture of Pregnant Rachel at 16 weeks. Only 24 weeks to go!

Leaving on a Jet Plane

Well, we're off! My parents came into town for my birthday this week and they've talked me into coming back to Florida for a few days. So Spencer and I will join my mom and fly back to good ol' St. Cloud for a while. Robert will be a bachelor for a few days, which he claims he's not looking forward to. But I think we all need some quiet time to ourselves every once in a while. I really wish he was coming with us, but he has to work.

I just thought I'd update a little before we left. Everyone is doing great! Rob is looking for a daytime position at Melaleuca. Everyone pray that he gets one. He's been working nights (1pm-10pm) for about 2 years now so it's time for a change. What stinks is that he works with some really awesome people that I would hate to lose touch with but I guess we all have to move on sometime. But we'll see how the job thing goes... By the time I get home from Florida, it will almost be time to find out what we're having. That's right everyone! MARCH 13th!!! Mark your calendars!!!!! You know I will post pictures as soon as we get home. We go in at 9:30am so check around 11am Mountain Time. We love you all and hope everyone is awesome!

Doctor's Appointment

Sorry it's been a while since I've updated our blog, but I thought I would wait until I went to the Dr. I have to say, I really wasn't looking forward to this one because this blessed day was the "fun" appointment where they do blood work (yuck), breast exam (double yuck) and a pap smear (YUCK!). I lovingly refer to this appointment as the Triple Threat. So anyway, Robert would normally go to the Doc with me, except he had a meeting that morning. So I went it alone. Everything went just fine. I got to meet my Dr. for the first time. He was in surgery when I went before. I have to take a minute to make a plug for this doctor. So any ladies in the Idaho Falls or surrounding area, listen up! His name is Dr. Leavitt and he's AWESOME! He was so nice and made me feel really comfortable. He's really lax when it comes to ultrasounds which is awesome. I love seeing the baby! He lets you get your epideral as soon as you want it, a wonderful thing when you're in pain. He was just really nice and had a really positive attitude so I would recommend him to anyone! So if you're looking for a new OBGYN, check out Leavit Women's Health Care. It's awesome!

Well, back to the appointment. After everything was over, he asked me if they looked at the baby last time. I told him, " yes, but if you wanted to take a peek at the baby, I wouldn't object." He thought that was a great idea, so in we went! Everything looked great and right on schedule. He even looked to see if he could tell what the sex of the baby was....and he guessed that it's a GIRL!!! I was SO excited, but like the Dr. said, little boys can sneak up on you so we won't find out for sure until March 13th. So everyone reading this blog, send out the girly vibes!

Robert's New Obsession

We need to come clean. Robert has a new obsession...Ebay! It all started the other day when he brought home his old school Nintendo. You know, the one that only works some of the time, that you have to blow in it to make it work, and it often freezes up in the middle of an important game. So this got him all nostalgic and he started thinking of all the games they used to play as kids. We have this really awesome store in Idaho Falls called CD World that sells new and used cds, movies, and various Nintendo-like games. So he went to check it out. This trip only led to a longer trip down memory lane, remembering games like Mario 3, Dr. Mario, Bubble Bobble, and Mega Man 3. This is when he discovered the joys of Ebay. Rob learned that he could get the games for cheaper and he could search for all sorts of stuff. So now we're hooked...we love to look things up and see how much we could sell our useless stuff for. It's GREAT! Hey, it's just like the commercial says, "It's more fun when you win it..."

Tag, You're It!

I've Been Tagged! I've been tagged by Rebecca, and here is how this one works.

A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player answers the question about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 5 other people and posts there names. And then leaves a message on their blog letting them know they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog to get the directions.

Let's see...10 years ago I was 12, almost 13. I think we still lived in Georgia and we were about to move to St. Cloud, Florida. I was going to school at Cousins Middle school and had some really great friends there and at church. Life was so much easier back then!

5 Things on my "To-Do" List Today
1. Get ready for the window guy...who came 30 minutes early..
2. Make sure the house is clean. That one never leaves the list for some reason. : )
3. Do some laundry.
4. Piano lessons.
5. Cook some supper.

3 Bad Habits I have
1. Procrastitating....BIG time
2. Very unorganized, especially with all my primary stuff...it's awful, I know...
3. I am like the worst visiting teacher ever and I don't know why I don't go, I just don't.

Super Tuesday super Sucked!

My fellow Romney supporters...what the heck happened on Super Tuesday?!?! I was busy all day yesterday so I neglected to turn on our tried and true Fox news. Spencer and I went to Wally World, ate some dinner, then rushed off to a Stampin' Up party. By the time we got home, it was almost 8:30 which means bedtime for babies in our house. So I gave Spencer a bath, brushed his teeth, said prayers, and tucked him into bed. Then it hit me! It's Super Tuesday! So I quickly turned on Fox news to see that Mike Huckabee has stolen all the votes from Mitt Romney. Let me tell you, I was so angry...I think I actually used the word hate, in that I hate Mike Huckabee. If he would have just stepped aside, Romney would be in a closer race with McCain! I apologize if you're a Huckabee fan, but really...President Huckabee??? Come on! He's a nice guy and much more conservative than McCain, I'll give him that...he's just not the kind of guy I want to be our next president. Anyone else as disappointed as us?

Nursery Success!

Hip hip hooray! Spencer had his first really successful day in nursery today! He cried a little when Robert dropped him off but he was great the rest of the time. It's a far cry from the first time he went to nursery. When we went to pick him up, his eyes were bright red and he was breathing like he'd been crying the whole time. What a sad sight! The nursery comes into the primary room to have a little singing time while everyone's in class and today he came in and sat in his own chair and smiled while everyone sang! After singing, it was time for snacks and he walked down the hall folding his arms like the other kids. We are so proud of him and we REALLY hope he keeps this up! I wonder how it's going to be when the new baby comes....any advice??
